Dato’ Dr Dionysius Shankar Kumar Sharma

Dato’ Dr 'Dino' has 30 years of environmental conservation and management experience and is currently a Director of the Malaysian Wildlife Conservation Foundation, Strategic Advisor and Advisory Council Member of Green Growth Asia Foundation and a Board member of the Borneo Rhino Alliance and the Pulau Banding Foundation (dedicated to the conservation of biodiversity in Peninsular Malaysia’s northern forests). Maintaining his scientific interests, he serves on various IUCN Species Survival Commissions (specialist groups), including turtles, small mammals and the Asian rhino. Dato' Dr. Dino was the Chief Executive of WWF Malaysia from 2007 to 2018.

Douglas W. Hubbard

Doug Hubbard is the inventor of the Applied Information Economics (AIE) method and founder of Hubbard Decision Research (HDR). He is the author of How to Measure Anything: Finding the Value of Intangibles in Business and The Failure of Risk Management: Why It’s Broken and How to Fix It. Two of his books are required reading for the American Society of Actuaries exam prep. He is known for taking a critical view of popular "risk matrices", the use of weighted scores in decision making, and expert intuition methods that are inferior to quantitative methods. Doug is one of the Chairs of Probability Management Institute where Board members include Nobel Laureate Harry Markowitz. 

Dr. Sergei Ikovenko

Dr Sergei Ikovenko is one of the world's leading innovation experts. He has trained thousands of engineers at Procter & Gamble, Mitsubishi, Samsung and Intel. He was the primary Innovation Instructor for Siemens, General Electric, Hyundai Motor and Huawei. He is a TRIZ Master and holds 114 patents. Dr Ikovenko is also a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, QFD Black Belt and Lean Master-Practitioner. He is an adjunct professor of Tongji University in Shanghai and has conducted TRIZ programs at MIT, Harvard, Carnegie-Melon, CalTech, Stanford and Vanderbilt University as well as China Patent Office, Swiss Patent Office, Polish Patent Office. Dr Ikovenko is a professor adjunct at MIT, Tufts University and an Honorary Professor of the University of Edinburgh (UK).

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Nor Aieni Haji Mokhtar

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Nor Aieni Haji Mokhtar is the Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) since 2015. UMT is a full-fledged marine university focused on marine science and oceanography. She is the leading domain expert in the field of Maritime and Coastal Engineering, having invented and patented a system for coastal protection; Sine Slab. Dato’ Dr. Nor Aieni is contributing actively to industry collaborations and empowerment of coastal communities towards societal wellbeing. She is currently involved in maritime management, climate change, coastal risk management, renewable energy, ocean policy and sustainable marine resources management.

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazlin Mokhtar

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazlin Mokhtar is a Senior Professor at the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He is also the Director and Principal Fellow at the Institute for Environment and Development (LESTARI) and a Senior Fellow at the Jeffrey Sachs Centre on Sustainable Development (JSC). Dato’ Dr. Mazlin was the Chairman of Malaysia’s Environmental Quality Council and played a leading role in the review of Lynas crisis. He is the Chair of the AACB, Water Sector Transformation 2040 Task Force under ASM-EPU. Dato' Dr. Mazlin is in the SDSN Malaysia Leadership Council, and is the Deputy Chairman of the Bauxite Mining SOP Committee appointed by the Minister of Natural Resources. 

Ir. Prof. Dato' Dr. Ewe Hong Tat

Dato' Dr. Ewe had worked in Motorola Penang, Intel Penang and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Research Laboratory of Electronics prior to his career as an academic. Dr. Ewe is the current President of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Regional Chair (Malaysia) of MIT Educational Council, Secretary General of ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET), Chair of IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society Malaysia Chapter. He was the former Council Member of Malaysia Qualifications Agency (MQA, 2013-2018).

Professor Emeritus Dr. Tham Siew Yean

Dr. Tham Siew Yean is Visiting Senior Fellow at ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute, Singapore and Professor Emeritus, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. She has served as a consultant to national agencies such as Malaysia Productivity Corporation under the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) and the Ministry of Higher Education. She has also served various international agencies including the Economic Research Institute of ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), World Bank and Asian Development Bank. Her research interests and publications are in foreign direct investment, trade policies and industrial development in Malaysia and ASEAN.

Prof. Datin Paduka Dr. Khatijah Yusoff

Datin Paduka Dr Khatijah Yusoff is a Merdeka Award (2015) winner for her contribution to national health, science and technology. She received UNESCO’s Carlos Finlay Prize for Microbiology in 2005. Dr. Khatijah also held various board memberships in MDEC, Atomic Energy Licencing Board, MIMOS, Greentech Malaysia, National Institute of Biotechnology, MARDI and Steibeis Malaysia Foundation. She was the Deputy Secretary-General of the Ministry of Science. Dr. Khatijah is currently based in UPM's Faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences, focusing on cancer and coronavirus vaccine R&D. She is a Council Member of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia.

Datuk Ir. Ahmad Fauzi Hasan

Datuk Ahmad Fauzi is a member of the Sustainable Energy Development Authority (SEDA). Datuk Fauzi was the CEO (2010-2017) and Non-Executive Chairman (2018-2020) of the Energy Commission of Malaysia. He was also the Chairman of the Atomic Energy Licencing Board of Malaysia (AELB) and a past President of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) National Committee of Malaysia. He has served in the Department of Electricity and Gas Supply, the Department of Occupational Safety and Health and the Factories and Machinery Department. Datuk Fauzi was an Adjunct Professor at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). He is a recipient of the “ASEAN Excellence in Energy Management by Individual Awards” in 2017. 

Prof. Dr. Yeah Kim Leng

Dr. Yeah is the Professor of Economics at Sunway University and Director of Economic Studies Program at Jeffrey Cheah Institute on Southeast Asia (JCI). He began his career as an analyst at the Institute of Strategic and International Studies and have led in various studies under the UNDP. He joined Rating Agency Malaysia and retired as its Chief Economist after spending 20 years. Dr. Yeah is also the Vice-President of the Malaysian Economic Association (MEA). He is one of the two external members of the Monetary Policy Committee appointed by Bank Negara Malaysia. Dr. Yeah is one of the founding members of SCRP. 

Prof. Dato' Dr. Aileen Tan Shau Hwai

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Aileen Tan heads the Centre for Marine and Coastal Studies (CEMACS), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang. She is a Professor at USM’s School of Biological Sciences. Dato’ Dr. Aileen holds the Malaysia Books of Records (1999) for creating the first artificial shellfish breeding centre. She won the Gold Medal (2002) at the International Exhibition of Inventions, New Techniques and Products, Geneva for accelerating oyster culture for the food industry. She also won the Gold Medal (2004) at IENA, Nuremberg, Germany for mobile plankton production kit. She piloted (first in SEA) and commercialised oyster farming for the benefit of the Sungai Merbok community folks in Penang and today, it has grown to more than 15 communities.
